Sunny and warm, then showers and storms….Our streak of sunny weather is about to come to an end, at least for a brief period of time. We’re tracking a chance of showers and storms as we wrap up the work week.

On Thursday, though, we’ll start the day with sun, but gradually we’ll see a few more clouds building in, all ahead of a cold front moving in from the west. While a couple of isolated evening showers are possible, a lot of us will be dry Thursday. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s.

The cold front will move in on Friday. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly by afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s.

A few showers could linger into early Saturday morning as the front slides offshore, but the bulk of the weekend will be dry. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s on Saturday. Temps will climb into the upper 60s by Sunday.

Tonight: Mostly Clear and Chilly. Low temperatures in the mid and upper 40s. Winds: E/SE 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Partly Cloudy and Warm. Isolated PM Showers (20%). High temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: SE/S 10-15 mph.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers and Storms (50%). High temperatures in the upper 70s. Winds: SW 10-20 mph.
