First Warning Forecast: Tracking more sun and wind for your weekend

Posted

Sunny, windy and cool….If you’ve been waiting for a great weekend of weather, then this is your weekend! An area of high pressure will build over our area, giving way to mostly sunny skies for both Saturday and Sunday. But with an area of low pressure lingering offshore, the winds will continue to be a bit gusty at times. High temperatures will be in the low and mid 60s. Winds will blow in from the northeast between 15 and 25 mph. Some higher gusts are likely, especially along the coast.

By Monday, the winds will relax and our temperatures will warm up. We’re expecting highs in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. On Tuesday, we’ll be in the 70s, too. But a cold front will move in from the north late Tuesday, giving way to highs in the 60s Wednesday and Thursday. Rain moves back in by Friday.

Today: Mostly Sunny. Cool and Windy. High temperatures in the low and mid 60s. Winds: NE 15-25+ mph.

Tonight: Mostly Clear and Cold. Breezy. Low temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds: NE 15-20+ mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny and Mild. Windy. High temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: NE 15-25+ mph.
