But she's now getting praise for what she's done via Twitter direct messages. BuzzFeed reports Rihanna has been privately helping a fan come out of the closet.
The fan, who wants to remain anonymous for now, told BuzzFeed they opened up about their sexuality about a month ago because they felt like they didn't have anyone else to talk to.
