Hampton Roads, Va. – Dominion Power now reports that only approximately 75 customers in Hampton Roads are currently without power.
The area has experienced multiple power outages throughout the morning, mainly due to power lines being hit by fallen tree branches.
At the height of the outages around 5:00 a.m., approximately 4,200 customers, mainly in Virginia Beach, were without power.
Dominion Power also says at 10:43 a.m., 8,900 customers in Portsmouth lost power.
All but 1,000 have now been restored.
Douglas Park Elementary lost power, but that was also restored.
A little over 1,000 people are without power along Portsmouth Boulevard and High Street.
