Norfolk Academy student heading to Olympic trials

Norfolk Academy student Callie Dickinson will represent TIDE Swimming at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

Dickinson, 16, has four Olympic Trial cuts. She earned three cuts at the 2016 Speedo Sectional Series Meet in Richmond, Virginia.

The 2016 Olympic Trials is one of the biggest swimming events in the country. The trials will select the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swim Team, which will represent Team USA in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The trials will take place in Omaha, Nebraska June 26 through July 3.

Tide Swimming is a USA Swimming Silver Medal club. It is one of the top 100 swimming clubs in the United States.
