and last updated

Showers and storms are on the way….The weather has been fantastic over the past few days. We’ve enjoyed plenty of sunshine. However, things are about to change. We’re tracking showers and storms, along with a warm up and a big cool down for next week.  All eyes are on a cold front off to the west that will slide through the area Thursday through Friday. On Thursday, we’ll see increasing clouds as we go through the day. A few showers are possible by late afternoon and evening. High temperatures will warm up into the mid 70s. Winds will be breezy from the south-southwest between 15 and 25 mph, with higher gusts.

Rain will become likely on Friday. Some of the rain could be heavy. We could also see a few thunderstorms as the front rolls through.  High temperatures will be in the mid 70s Friday. Winds will be gusty again from the south between 15 and 25 mph, with higher gusts.

A few showers could linger into early Saturday morning. However, the bulk of the day will be dry with high temperatures in the mid 60s.  Under partly cloudy skies, we’ll be in the mid and upper 50s Sunday.  Then for next week, expect high temps generally in the upper 50s.

Tonight: Mostly Clear and Cool. Low temperatures in the low 50s. Winds: S 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Increasing Clouds. PM Rain (30%). Warm and Windy. High temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: S/SW 15-25 mph, gusts to 30.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy. Rain Likely (70%). Chance of Storms. Windy. High temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: S 15-25 mph, gusts to 30.
