Norfolk, Va. – Two Norfolk Animal Control Officers were led on an eventful chase recently.

An escaped goat led Officers Blankenship and Calnan on a brief foot pursuit in the 7900 block of Tarpon Place before being apprehended.

According to Norfolk Police, they say the goat was just enjoying a quick jaunt in the spring weather.

The goat was relocated to the Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center and has since found a new home in Mathews County.
