First Warning Forecast: Tracking a few showers for your Easter Weekend

Posted

Tracking a few showers for your Easter Weekend….Our Easter weekend will start dry, but showers are rolling in.  As we move through this Saturday, expect partly sunny skies across Hampton Roads and Northeastern NC. Northerly winds will keep our high temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Later this evening, a few showers will creep in from the southwest, all courtesy of an area of low pressure. That low will move over the area through Easter Sunday, giving way to some scattered showers.  So have your rain umbrella handy as we move through the holiday. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies. It will be cool, with high temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. A cold front sweeps through on Monday, giving way to scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 70s. Sunshine returns Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today: Partly Sunny and Cool. High temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Rain (40%). Low temperatures in the mid 40s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Rain (40%). Cool. High temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
