Norfolk, Va. – Federal defense attorneys for Wesley Hadsell have been allowed to withdraw from his case.
According to the paperwork filed in court, Hadsell’s attorneys also represent another individual who has expressed interest in providing information to authorities about Hadsell.
That person could also potentially become a potential witness against Hadsell in the case against him regarding the disappearance and death of his stepdaughter, AJ Hadsell.
Due to these conflicts of interest, the attorneys sought withdraw from Hadsell’s counsel. On March 10, counsel Jason Dunn was appointed by the court to represent Hadsell.
Hadsell is currently waiting to be sentenced for one count of Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.
His sentencing was scheduled for March 18 but has been rescheduled for June 24.
