Police identified the body found under the Lafayette Bridge in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Police have identified the body recovered from the Lafayette Bridge as 25-year-old David Isaac.

A concerned citizen called police just before 4 p.m. and reported seeing a body in the water near 26th Street and Villa Circle.

When police arrived, the body was spotted and immediately pulled from the water. Isaac was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances of Isaac’s death are unknown. The medical examiner has classified this incident as an undetermined death.
