After the big winter storm over the weekend, many of us had to shovel our driveways and sidewalks. That chore can be a workout, even for people who are in shape. Even worse, the exertion can create health problems, leading to heart attacks and even death.
Experts suggest using a smaller shovel when clearing snow. The larger the shovel, the more you exert yourself, tiring you out faster. They also advise against reaching for that shovel first thing in the morning.
