Patrick’s Storm Team Forecast: 60s today, showers and (maybe) some snowflakes on the way

Posted

Falling temperatures, falling rain, and maybe a little falling snow!

A strong cold front is bearing down on our area. Ahead of that front southwest winds have warmed many of us well into the 60s this afternoon. But that cold front will bring us a few showers on Wednesday and falling temperatures. We will start off the day in the 40s and end up in the 30s in the afternoon.

That cold front will push out into the Atlantic, and an area of low pressure will develop and move along it. Some forecast models bring it close enough to produce some rain on Friday, possibly starting with a little bit of snow.

But by the afternoon we expect clearing skies and high temperatures back in the 50s.

Then we will enjoy a warming trend for the weekend.

Expect high temperatures in the low-to-mid 50s on Saturday with plenty of sunshine and in the low 60s on Sunday and Monday.
