Virginia Beach Police seek Southern Bank robber

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police need your help solving the robbery of a Southern Bank and Trust.

Police received a call about the robbery on January 8 around 11 a.m.

Investigators say a man came into the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect implied he had a weapon.

The man ran away towards the McDonald’s on Indian River Road after taking the cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 5’ 7” to 5’ 8” tall, weighing approximately 170 – 180 pounds. Surveillance video shows him wearing a baseball cap and a blue denim jacket.
