Virginia Beach, Va. - If you’ve wondered what’s going on with that building with the large nets along Interstate 264 near Witchduck Road – your wait is over.

"Topgolf” officially opened Monday morning.

Picture a three story bowling alley, but  instead of bowling balls and pins –it’s golf balls and colorful targets.

"There are plenty of golf courses, but there’s no driving range like this that’s open and all the other games to play like pool and everything else,” customer Josh Choffel said.

There’s pool, food and full bar if the 102 golf bays aren’t enough to keep you entertained.

“The great thing about Topgolf is you don’t have to be a golfer to play, whether you’re an avid golfer, you’re coming with your family or just coming with friends it really is an activity that anyone can enjoy,”said Rachael Keshishian, Marketing Manager of Topgolf

If you wondered about the weather, it’s not a problem. Large heaters keep you warm in the usually cold winter.

"I’m definitely gonna come here over going out to a bar from now on it’s a lot more fun, keeps you active, pretty cool atmosphere,” Choffel said.
