Police looking for man in connection with attempted abduction of teenage girl

Virginia Beach, Va. - Police need your help to identify a man who is accused of trying to abduct a teenager.

It happened on November 1 around 11:00 a.m. in the 900 block of Diamond Springs Road.

The victim, 17, was walking down Diamond Springs Road towards Wesleyan Drive when the suspect offered her a ride and attempted to grab the teen.

Police released a composite sketch of the subject--who is described as a black male in his 30's, around 6'3" with a thin, muscular build.  He was last seen wearing green tennis shoes, sweat pants and a t-shirt.

Authorities say he drives a blue or black Navigator SUV.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
