Hampton, Va. – A Hampton man is now $500,000 richer thanks to the Virginia Lottery’s Bank a Million game!
Manassie Vaughan matched all six numbers in the October 3rd drawing. According to the Virginia Lottery, since he split his $2 wager when he bought the ticket, he had two sets of numbers, which doubled the chances to win. Using that “Play Your Way” feature, he won $500,000 on one of his sets of numbers.
The winning numbers were 4-12-17-18-23-36.
“I looked at the numbers and said, ‘This can’t be right,’” Vaughan said. “I was surprised!”
Vaughan bought the winning ticket at M&T Market at 2711 Kecoughtan Road in Hampton. The store received a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
