East Hanover, NJ – OREO is always surprising fans with new fun flavors. But the company’s newest product is a new take on the original.
OREO Thins are described as a thinner, sleeker, modern take on the original cookie.
“At OREO, we know that some of our fans have grown up and that their tastes have grown up too,” said Patty Gonzalez, Senior Brand Manager OREO at Mondelez International. “With this in mind, we’re excited to introduce OREO Thins as a new take on the classic cookie. The crisp and delicate texture of OREO Thins was specially designed for fans who love the taste of OREO but are looking for a more sophisticated cookie.”
The chocolate cookies and thinner and so is the slab of cream filling in the middle, making each cookie about 4 millimeters thinner than the original OREO. Each OREO Thin cookie is about 35 calories in comparison to the 42 calories in one original OREO.
OREO Thins will be available in stores nationwide on Monday, July 13th. They’ll be sold in Original, Golden and Mint flavors.
