Norfolk, Va. – An overturned dump truck on I-264 has shut down the Ballentine Blvd. exit ramp, as well as two lanes on I-264, according to Norfolk Police.
The call came in at 10:05 a.m. A dump truck driver lost control of the vehicle while exiting the off ramp on I-264 heading northbound on Ballentine Blvd. The truck flipped on its side, according to police.
Two tow trucks have responded to the scene. Light Rail will be delayed at the Ballentine Blvd. stop until the truck is uprighted, police say.
Two southbound lanes on Ballentine Blvd. have been shut down as well.
Expect delays for approximately two hours, police say.
Ballentine Blvd. northbound at I-264 is also closed.
No injuries have been reported.
