Wednesday’s VIPIR Forecast: Not as hot

Not as hot or humid… Temperatures will start in the mid to upper 70s this morning but will only reach into the mid 80s this afternoon. We will see a mix of sun and clouds today with an isolated shower or storm possible this evening.

Highs will linger in the upper 80s for the second half of the work week with afternoon showers and storms possible. The chance for showers and storms will go up for Saturday as a front moves in. Highs will climb back into the 90s early next week.

Tropical Update

Tropical Depression Bill continues to track north across central Texas. Bill is centered 45 miles south of Waco, Texas and moving north at 13 mph. Sustained winds are near 35 mph. Slow weakening is expected during the next 48 hours, and the depression is expected to become a post-tropical low on Thursday.
