Patrick Rockey’s Live VIPIR Forecast
Well, it was nice while it lasted.
Wednesday has given us an oasis from the record-breaking heat and ugly humidity. But the same cold front that brought us this relief, will be moving back north as a warm front. As it does, we could see a few showers and storms overnight tonight and early on Thursday morning. Then we’ll see the mercury climb back into the 90s in the afternoon, with just a slight chance for a cooling afternoon storm.
Another weak cold front should knock us back into the mid-to-upper 80s on Friday and into Saturday. Expect a slight chance for storms on Friday and a better chance on Saturday.
Father’s Day also happens to be the first day of summer this year. And it’s going to be a steamy one, with highs in the low-to-mid 90s, with a chance of afternoon storms. As a matter of fact, it looks like we’ll have at least a slight chance for afternoon storms just about every day next week.
