Suffolk, Va. – A driver is charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain control after crashing in Suffolk Saturday morning.
The single vehicle accident happened in the 4400 block of westbound Pruden Boulevard/ Route 460.
Around 8:52 a.m., officials received reports of an overturned Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Investigators say the driver, 18-year-old Eric Billeter, drove off the roadway, glanced off a power pole until the car came to a spot on its roof inside a ditch.
Three men were inside the vehicle, but were reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
Both westbound lanes, and one eastbound lane were temporarily closed to traffic. All lanes reopened around 10:05 a.m.
