Hampton, Va. - Three teenagers have been charged after an incident in Hampton on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Old Buckroe Road around 2:00 p.m. in reference to a fight. When they arrived, officers made contact with a 17-year-old girl who said she had been forced into a car by several girls that she knew.
The girl said she was walking in the 100 block of Ireland Road with the girls when they got into an argument. It was then that she was forced into the car.
The car drove to the area of the 200 block of W. Chamberlain Avenue and the girl called her mother who then contacted police.
The suspects left the scene before police arrived. The girl was not injured.
As a result of the investigation, two 17-year-old girls, one 16-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old girl were each charged with one count of Abduction and Kidnapping.
