Tracking storms and heat… Highs will climb to near 90 this afternoon, likely our hottest day of the year so far. Expect a mix of sun and clouds during the day with a chance for scattered showers and storms during the afternoon and evening hours as a cold front moves through. Some storms could be strong to severe. Gusty winds, small hail and even an isolated tornado are possible. It will still be breezy today with winds 10 to 15 mph. We will return to sunshine for the second half of the work week with highs falling into the 60s and 70s.
