Ana’s remnants… The leftovers of Tropical Storm Ana will drift over eastern NC and VA today. Expect rain, heavy at times with a possibility of strong to severe storms, especially for coastal areas. Expect winds shifting from SE to SW at near 20 mph.

A strong cold front will move through on Tuesday, giving us another chance for storms. Expect a mix of sun and clouds during the day with highs climbing to near 90. A line of showers and storms will push through during the afternoon and evening hours from west to east. Some storms could be strong to severe. We will return to sunshine for the second half of the work week with highs falling into the 60s and 70s.
