Thursday’s VIPIR Forecast: Rain and cooler

Rain and cooler… An area of low pressure will spin up along the Mid-Atlantic coast for the end of the work week. Expect plenty of clouds with on and off showers for today and Friday. Rain may be heavy at times with a stray storm mixed in. Highs will reach into the mid 60s today but only into the upper 50s on Friday. Winds will crank up on Friday as the low drifts off of the coastline. Expect winds at 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts possible. Rain should taper off by Friday late afternoon and evening. Clouds will clear out on Saturday with temperatures on the rise. Expect highs near 70 on Saturday and mid 70s on Sunday. Winds will also back down for the weekend.
