Suffolk, Va. – One of several women convicted and sentenced for their involvement in a child porn operation in Hampton Roads is now facing more charges related to child pornography.

Sierra Halsey, 24, of Suffolk was the girlfriend of Robert H. Scott, who operated under the name “Mike Pyro.”
From November 2012 to April 2013, Scott contacted women online as “Mike Pyro” and set up sex parties where the women would work as prostitutes. Instead of paying them, officials say he extorted the women by threatening to publish sexually explicit videos.
Investigators say Scott also conspired to and produced child porn with five of the women, When he talked about the parties, he would sometimes ask the women to produce child porn and was very specific about what he wanted done on camera.
Halsey was arrested in February of 2014 after visiting Scott at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail. She was interviewed and confessed her involvement.
She pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Norfolk to production of child pornography and destruction of records and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
After the completion of the federal investigation, a separate investigation was initiated by the Suffolk Police Department and the Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
During the investigation, numerous child pornography videos including Halsey and two male victims, ages 1 and 5 years old, were found. The videos were made by Halsey at her former residence in the 5000 block of Townpoint Road in Suffolk in April 2013.
Charges relating to the inappropriate sexual contact in the videos with both minor victims were brought against Halsey, and indictments were issued by the Grand Jury on March 5 as a result of the investigation.
The indictment includes charges of Sodomy-Victim Less than 13 Years Old, Attempted Sodomy- Victim Less than 13 Years Old, two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery, seven counts of Taking Indecent Liberties with Children, five counts of Indecent Liberties-Custodial Relationship, and six counts of Cruelty to Children.
Halsey is currently incarcerated at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
