Newport News, Va. – Prom season is almost here! Many girls are already out shopping for the “perfect” dress.
The Peninsula Dream Center is taking action for teen girls who can't afford a dress on their own.
Last night's event drew a crowd of nearly 300 young women from around the area.
Girls were able to choose a dress, shoes and accessories from wall-to-wall racks and tables.
