Woman arrested after allegedly stabbing, biting husband

Abigail Cruz  two counts of malicious woundingNewport News, Va. – A Newport News woman has been arrested after allegedly attacking her husband for the second time in a year.

On the evening of December 11th an officer who was working on another investigation at a local hospital was told by emergency room staff of a stabbing victim in the emergency room.

The victim told the officer he had been bitten and stabbed by his wife during an argument. None of his injuries were life-threatening.

19-year-old Abigail Cruz was arrested and charged with two counts of malicious wounding on December 17th.

This is the second time Cruz has been arrested for allegedly attacking her husband.

She was arrested in August on multiple charges after allegedly attacking her husband and slashing his tires in front of their infant daughter, then hitting him and throwing an object through their home’s window.
