Virginia Beach, Virginia - A man is in the hospital after being shot at aQua Lounge on Virginia Beach Boulevard around 2:00am.
Police received the call at 2:16 a.m. The caller reported a victim suffering from a gunshot wound at aQua Lounge. Police arrived on scene and found a man who had been shot.
Police say an unidentified man got into an argument at the business and was escorted from the building by security. The suspect was seen getting into the passenger seat of a silver vehicle, and as the vehicle was exiting the parking lot, the suspect shot in the direction of security, striking the victim.
Police say the suspect left in the silver vehicle with three to four people inside.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. At this time, police say his condition is reported as stable.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid-twenties, approximately 5’ 8” tall and approximately 140 pounds.
This case is under investigation.
