Norfolk, Va. - A 17-year-old Norview High School student is facing several charges after police say he tried to bypass metal detectors on Thursday morning.
They say this happened just before 9 a.m. The student was combative with the security guards and threatened to bomb or burn the school officials say.
The student was pepper sprayed and taken into custody. He was charged with assault and battery, disorderly conduct and threaten to bomb or burn.
The student was treated after being pepper sprayed and he was then taken to Juvenile Intake.
No other details have been released.
