We first brought you the story of the so-called “Titanic Ghost Ship” in June of 2012. Portsmouth native Chuck Moore, an architectural draftsman spent nine years painstakingly building the replica to look exactly like the original ship.
Over time he thought the replica was haunted and it inspired debate pro and con from believers and non-believers.
This week, his wife Gail of 34 years informed us that Chuck passed away last Friday after a long illness. He was 73.
In honor of Chuck’s detailed work that remains a mystery even after his death, we encourage you to revisit our coverage on the “Titanic Ghost Ship.”
