Teen critically injured during tornado at campground dies

Lheandrew Lloyd Balabat, 13, who was injured July 24th when a tornado touched down at Cherrystone Family Camping Resort died Saturday afternoon at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, according to the campground owner who has been in touch with a close friend of the Balabat family.

Lheandrew  and his sisters were hurt and their parents, Lord Balabat and Lolibeth Ortega were killed when a tree fell onto the family while they were in separate tents at the camping resort during the tornado.

Lheandrew had been in critical condition since he was injured.

His sisters, ages 11 and 6, were treated and released from the hospital.

Several accounts have been set up to help the Balatbat family cover their needs.
