Hampton Police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery of a TitleMax that occurred May 23rd.
Police say they were notified of the alarm activation at 9:28 a.m. at the TitleMax located in the 3000 block of West Mercury Boulevard.
The investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money.
After retrieving an undisclosed amount of money, he fled from the business.
Thanks to a CrimeLine tip, Hampton Police have charged 28-year-old Christopher Allen Williams of Suffolk with the incident. He has been charged with one count of Robbery, one count of Abduction, one count of Burglary While Armed and two counts of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. He is currently in the custody of the Chesapeake Police Department for additional charges on related incidents.
