Silver Alert issued for missing Fairfax man

The Virginia State police are looking for a senior citizen who has been reported missing from Fairfax County.

A Silver Alert was issued early Friday afternoon for 70-year-old Chae Won Lim.

Troopers say Lim was last seen on Friday at the Fairoaks Mall in Fairfax. He is 5’6″ tall and weighs 160 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. Police say he was wearing black capri shorts and a cream striped shirt.

Virginia State Police tell us that he also suffers from cognitive impairment and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.

    Mr. Lim was located by residents in Annandale on July 5th and Fairfax police reunited him with his daughter. This Silver Alert posting on the wtkr website was instrumental in identifying the man was a missing person. Thank you.
