Boat fire in Virginia Beach leaves one injured

Virginia Beach, Va.- This evening, fire crews successfully put out a boat fire.

The boat was docked behind a house on Old Shell Road.

The fire was reported around 8:45 pm and crews had it under control a short time later.

The owner was burned but his injuries are not considered serious.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

    The boat exploded. Neighbors heard the bang all around the area. The owner is very lucky not to have suffered more serious injuries.
