Crash sends car into porch of Hampton home

Hampton, Va. – Police are investigating a vehicle accident that caused one of the vehicles to crash into a resident’s home in Hampton.

Just before 10 p.m. Saturday night, Hampton police responded to a two vehicle accident in the 100 block of Big Bethel Road.

Officers arrived on scene and found that a car that was traveling east on Lassister Drive crashed into a pickup truck coming off of Big Bethel Road. The car came to rest after striking the front porch of a house on Big Bethel.

Police say an adult female who was driving the car was airlifted to the hospital where she’s currently in critical but stable condition.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. No word on charges at this time.
