CLIFTON, Va. — A 17-year-old at Centreville High School who suffers from cerebral palsy got an amazing surprise Thursday evening, according to WJLA.

Juwaan Espinal, despite being non-verbal due to cerebral palsy, has a large circle of friends.

Thursday evening during a lacrosse playoff showdown at the high school, students approached Juwaan hiding behind a banner that read, “I know I’m not as cool as RGIII, but will you go to the prom with me?”

As they got closer, they moved the banner and out popped Washington Redskins quarterback, Robert Griffin III, who just happens to be Juwaan’s favorite player. Griffin was there to help Juwaan’s classmate Morgan Assel ask her friend to the prom.

Juwaan, who is able to say things like ‘Yes’ and ‘No,’ of course said yes.

Afterward, Juwaan had a few selfies taken with his hero and he could barely contain his excitement.
