Man, 19, arrested for allegedly touching young boys in Newport News

Newport News, Va. – A 19-year-old Suffolk man was arrested in Newport News on Monday after being accused of inappropriately touching two young boys.

Newport News Police responded to the 300 block of Hilltop Drive and met with the parents of the two victims.

The victims, an 8-year-old boy and a 10-year-old boy, told officers that 19-year-old Michael Bailey had inappropriately touched them.

One of the boys also said Bailey had offered to buy him ice cream if he could touch him again.

Bailey was still in the area when officers arrived. He was taken into custody after officers spoke to the victims and witnesses.

Bailey was charged with aggravated sexual battery.
