A Ft. Bragg soldier admitted in court on Thursday that she went on a rampage – gun in hand – against her husband and his girlfriend at a Williamsburg apartment complex last fall.

Maggie Kloske was a soldier on a mission. Police say last September she drove up from Ft. Bragg in North Carolina to Stratford Hall Apartments in Williamsburg with a plan to kill herself in front of her husband and his girlfriend.

Investigators say she did use the gun – firing the .45 into her husband’s locked bedroom door. He opened it, they struggled, and Kloske punched the 19-year-old girlfriend in the head over and over.

The husband, in just his boxers, managed to get the two of them away.

Witnesses watched the armed confrontation.

"I looked out the window and I saw police armed trying to find the girl that was also armed and they were just trying to get her captured.”

Kloske was caught after about 20 minutes.

Now 25-years-old, Kloske pleaded guilty to four charges, including assault and battery.
