Update: This warning has now expired. 

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of northeast North Carolina.

This includes Bertie County, Hertford County and Northampton County.

This warning will expire at 10 p.m.

The National Weather Service says this storm is capable of producing quarter size hail and could also produce damaging winds and deadly lightning.

    They dumb its still getting it in over this way especially right off highway 35 in northampton county nc.. repeated lightning heavy rain and wind .. right outside of conway nc area .. power is off indefinitely.
