The westbound span of the Wright Memorial Bridge on the Outer Banks, connecting Dare County to Currituck County, has been closed since mid-September.

It's all for a major resurfacing project to smooth out a bumpy ride.


Today NewsChannel 3's Todd Corillo got exclusive access to the closed span, and asked the big question - with summer fast approaching, will the bridge reopen in time for tourism season?
