A 31-year-old woman was killed in a vehicle crash in York County just after midnight Tuesday.

According to the Virginia State Police, troopers were notified of the crash at 12:33 a.m. in the area of Rochambeau Drive, north of Mooretown Road.

An investigation revealed that a 2001 Honda Accord, driven by Jennifer Renfro, was traveling northbound on Rochambeau Dr. at a high rate of speed when Renfro lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road and struck a tree.

Renfro was not wearing her seatbelt.  It is unknown if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
