Newport News, Va. - NewsChannel 3 is getting new details about a disturbing hit and run case in Newport News.

This weekend, a woman told officers she was jogging when she noticed a man slowly driving near her.

After passing her once, she says he turned around and deliberately barreled into her path.

On Tuesday, that woman met with investigators and worked to give them a composite sketch.

The 35-year-old victim was running in the area of Riverside Drive, near Museum Drive, when she was hit by his gold-colored Honda or Toyota Sedan.

Another jogger nearby called 911.

The woman is a little banged up. She has scrapes to her right hip and knee.

If you recognize this man, call the CrimeLine at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
