Newport News Police say two cars and a school bus were involved in a crash at Warwick Boulevard and Denbigh Boulevard on Monday.
The accident happened around 3:50 p.m.
The school bus and the car immediately behind the bus were stopped at a red light when another car hit the rear of the stopped car, causing the car to hit the back of the bus.
The bus’ only damage was a scuff mark while the damage to the two other cars was more significant.
No injuries were reported.
There were no children on the bus.
The driver of the second car, 63-year-old Dwight Bryant, was charged with reckless driving.
