Suffolk Police looking for suspect in string of vehicle larcenies

Suffolk Police are looking for a suspect involved in a string of larcenies in the North Main Street Area over the last month.

Police say close to 20 incidents have been reported from the second week of February until mid-March from the 100 block to the 1400 block of North Main Street.

The incidents have all occurred in the time frame of 2:00 p.m. to after midnight.

The suspect appears to be targeting vehicles parked in the shopping center and restaurants with some of the incidents involving a victim’s personal items left in plain view inside the vehicle.

The subject is described as black male in his 30’s, 6 foot tall, 200 pounds with slight facial hair.
