Today we honor retired Chief Everette Dexter Lamb.
He proudly served in the US Navy for 33 years as a store keeper.
His long service included World War II, Korean War, Lebanon Crisis, Cuban Crisis, and the Vietnam War.
Chief Lamb was born in Arkansas, but resided in Norfolk. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Redskins fan.
