A Richmond, Virginia woman said she would never go back to Burger King after she was handed a receipt that labeled her and her daughter-in-law “Bitch Ass Hoes.” That’s according to a report from in Richmond, Virginia.

“This is more than an insult. I mean calling you names on a piece of a paper, that will hurt somebody,” Miss Lorel said while fighting back tears. “I liked going there. But after this they won’t get my business anymore.”

Miss Lorel, who did not want her last name made public, said she saw the profanity on the receipt Saturday night while she picked up her order at the drive thru of the Belt Boulevard restaurant. She immediately asked to see the manager, WTVR reports.

“He did apologize. He also called the young lady over and asked her, ‘did you see this?’ She just shook her head. He said it had never happened before,” Miss Lorel recalled.

If you ever did that to my mother grandmother sister daughter etc I would hunt you down and beat you until you cried and I would make sure you lost your job people who do stuff like this need to be taught a lesson

  • Jess Crudup

That’s rude and disrespectful. Whoever did that does not need to be working in a public place where they have to interact with people. That was a stupid thing to do and I wouldn’t go back there ever again either. I’d tell the manager that not me, nor anyone I know will ever dine there.

it’s just words on paper. throw it away and move. truthfully don’t believe the story. can you write notes on the receipts? can most fast food employees even write? not to mention that a hoe is a gardening tool. don’t know how that is even an insult.

  • Disgusted

Not that it’s terribly important, but I wonder why they would blur obscenities in the picture/video, only to include them in the article? As for the poor lady….I think my response would have been along the lines of, “Hey, I may be a (what the receipt said), but you….well, you work at Burger King.” ‘Nuff said.

Complain to the manager. Find out who his boss is and complain to that person. Find out if this Burger King is owned by an individual with right to use the name of BK or if this store is owned by the BK Corporation. If owned by corporation then let them know also. You see I know about this type of restaurant. Some are owned by an individual and some are owned by the Corporation. Yes, workers at fast food restaurants tend to be teenagers but There is no excuse for rudeness and from some of the comments I have read there are some here that don’t seem to “get It” as far as how to act when you are working at any place of business. Also, these “kids’ should remember that they may someday want a reference for college from the boss and believe me it matters!!!

Just because someone works in fast food does not mean they are stupid!! A lot of our kids when they hit 16 or 17 and want a job to earn money start their first job in fast food..does that make them stupid? No it does not..So that remark was totally uncalled for. Some people have no choice but to work in fast food. If they have children and need to support them a true parent will work whatever job they have to to support their kids. There is a certain work ethic in a business and stuff like this should not even be condoned nor considered funny. How would some of you like it if it was done in your place of business and someone who thought it would be funny did this to one of your paying customers and it affected your bottom dollar? How they managed to get those words on the receipt is beyond me. It is computerized and to my knowledge an employee (nor manager) can change the printout. So I do not know if this was doctored or what but it is really shameful what some of the comments here say.. How can we expect younger people to do the right moral things if the adults can’t or fail to see what is wrong about this?

Last year a friend & I took a road trip. Dont remember what fast food restaurant we stopped it – thinking either Burger King or McDonalds. My friend was looking at receipt so we could share the cost when she started laughing – the receipt said “Mickey Mouse f**ks Minnie”. I guess someone at the store thought it was funny. We did. But surely the manager probably heard about it. So maybe not even meant for her. Just someone being young, dumb and stupid.

    • Jim Mizelle

I totally agree with that…I was thinking the same thing. Still totally inappropriate, but probably just someone being young and stupid…and like Deborah said, may not have even been directed at the aforementioned ladies. It definitely doesn’t warrant a potential lawsuit…and the lady breaking down to tears was a total overreaction!!

I haven’t been to a Burger King in years because of poor customer service… I like their burgers better than McDonalds, but after 4 or 5 times in a row of having flat out rude cashiers, I just decided that I don’t feel like having my money go towards employing those people.

  • cdidy

The cashier can type it in. It is meant to help the servers get the orders to the right customer when there is a store full of customers. The cashier ask the customer their name then type it in.

    • john saunders

Maybe that is how it happened. The drive thru worker asked for the name and someone in the car called someone a “Bit** A** Hoe”.

  • john saunders

How can someone spend $33.08 at a Burger King?? The first 2 items on the receipt have “special” orders so I guess by the 8th thing the staff was losing it. Onion Rings – no onions, French Fries – no potatoes. Whopper – no bun, pickle, burger, lettuce or wrapper.
