Newport News, Virginia – A man was shot to death inside Majik City Gentlemen’s Club on Jefferson Avenue shortly before 2:00am Wednesday, police say. He has now been identified as 56-year-old Issac Oiugbenga Oshin, the owner of the club.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with his murder.

Witnesses told police there had been an altercation inside the club and the suspects left in a red car.

They say later an unknown car pulled into the parking lot and a person got out and shot Oshin.

On Thursday, officers responding to a call of gunshots being heard in the area of 25th Street and Jefferson Avenue made contact with the suspect and determined he was wanted for the homicide.
