I’m sorry for the loss of life of Ms. Lambert. However, this was an accident waiting to happen. The speed limit for this section of Penniman Rd should be reduced. Every year there are countless number of accidents on this stretch of the road. My child catches the bus on this road where a individual lost a life. How many more people will suffer from injuries or a fatality before a change is made. This accident happened less than 50 feet from my doorstep. My husband provided support and assistance until the proper authority arrived. However, he stated ” all I could do was pray”. My personal prayer is that someone address this matter before another individual looses a life.
