Mobile home fire displaces a family of two in Suffolk

One adult and one child were displaced from their mobile home in rural Suffolk after a fire on Tuesday afternoon.

Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the 1100 block of Audubon Road at 12:50 p.m.

Upon arrival, units found smoke and flames coming from the front door of the trailer and the fire was quickly extinguished.

The adult and child are being assisted by nearby family. There were no injuries.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
